This is most peoples primary complaint with the game, and is enough to scare away most new-commers.Īs you play the game your health will drop steadily. and manuver in the air, or you can do a running leap. Both running and jumping are mapped to the B button so it is impossible to jump while walking. The controls for this game are painful to say the least. This takes the place of a save system and "Credits" which I go over the Game Credits section. These passwords will send you to a specified level. The other options on the main menu are "Start Game", which will send you through the opening cutscene and into level 1 "Password" which allows you to enter paswords that are given to you after the completion of a level. In the options menu you can also toggle the music, sound effects, and number of lives you start the game with.
I'll go further into these changes in the walkthrough section. Each difficulty makes changes to how you beat specific levels throughout the game. There are three difficulties that can be accessed in the options section of the main menu, before you start the game. Inorder to 100% the game a buzz lightyear ticket must be aquired on every stage. On each of the 9 playable stages once you have collected all thirty coins and completed the stage you will receive a buzz lightyear ticket. Each level contains 30 coins, and on the bonus stages 18 coins can be obtained.

There are 9 levels in the game, and 2 bonus stages. Along the way he gets "help" from Hamm, Rex, Bullseye the Horse and other Toy Story 2 characters.
